Getting Started

  • No. Many of our clients begin Pilates with little or no previous Pilates experience.

  • At TruForm Pilates Scottsdale, every new client completes at least one Private Pilates Session before joining regular classes. This allows us to introduce the equipment safely, assess movement patterns and recommend the most appropriate next steps.

  • From time to time, TruForm Pilates offers beginner-focused programming to help clients build confidence and develop a strong foundation in the Classical Pilates method.

    Because these offerings vary throughout the year, we encourage new clients to begin with a Private Pilates Session and speak with an instructor about the best next steps.

  • Pilates can benefit individuals of many ages and fitness levels. Whether your goal includes improving posture, increasing strength, enhancing mobility or simply moving better, Pilates can be adapted to your needs.

  • Most people benefit from attending two to three sessions per week. Consistency helps build familiarity with the exercises and supports steady progress.

  • No. Pilates is a lifelong practice that can be modified to meet the needs of people at many different stages in life.

Private & Semi-Private Pilates

  • Private Pilates is one-on-one instruction tailored to your body, goals and endurance level.

  • Semi-Private Pilates offers personalized instruction in a shared setting, allowing clients to work alongside a partner while receiving individualized guidance.

  • Semi-Private sessions work well for spouses, friends, family members and workout partners with similar goals and fitness levels.

  • Absolutely. Many clients choose ongoing Private Pilates because they appreciate the individualized attention.

  • Session are generally 50 to 55 minutes .

  • Yes. Many clients combine Private Pilates and Pilates classes based on their schedule and goals.

Pilates Classes & Scheduling

  • Your instructor will recommend the appropriate class placement based on your experience and readiness.

  • Yes. Pilates classes incorporate Classical Pilates apparatus as appropriate for the class format.

  • We encourage clients to reserve appointments early, as class sizes are limited.

  • Classes and appointments can be scheduled through our online scheduling system.

  • Maximum group apparatus Pilates class is four. Classes are intentionally kept small to allow for personalized attention and feed back.

  • We have a 24 hour cancellation policy for Pilates classes and appointments.

Pricing & Packages

  • Absolutely. Clients may continue purchasing packages as their Pilates practice evolves.

Preparing for Your Visit

  • Wear comfortable clothing that allows for movement without restricting your range of motion. Fitted exercise attire is preferred.

    Please avoid clothing with zippers or other embellishments that may damage the upholstery.

  • Grip socks are not required.

  • Bring yourself and any questions you may have. Grip socks are not required.

  • Please arrive five to ten minutes before your scheduled appointment.

  • A light meal or snack beforehand is generally fine. Avoid eating a large meal immediately before class.

  • Please contact the studio and/or your instructor as soon as possible. Late arrival. may shorten your session time.
